We sat and talked late into the night just about life and America...  A teacher and a Nurse form Germany.

Will raced as a UCI Continental pro in America for several years after graduating from UC Boulder, in Colorado. He is taking the Spring off racing to tour and think about his next move in life. We talked about Grad School. We talked about racing in Europe.  His setup is very lightweight.  He is averaging over 100 miles a day so far.

Another person staying at Bicycle House.  On his way around the world...  Ths particular guy ran a climbing gym in Tucson Az.  He has interesting insight and perspective regarding running an organization.  So many ideas being shared...

Barbara has toured the USA quite a bit in the last ten years, mostly solo. She through-hiked the Appalachain Trail in 2007.  She's married, a grandmother... Her partner does not like touring or hiking...

She enjoys the solitude, she told me as we rode west out of town together. She rides a recumbent bike, averages around 12 mph, and logs 50 or so miles a day. She likes oatmeal and coffee. She requested we allow one of our small dogs be allowed to sleep with her.  The smallest shop dog ever - did not mind one bit.
